This project was an ISTD brief to rebrand a forthcoming circus. The idea was that Westminster is rebranded as a circus to give you a glimpse of what the circus was like. It is called The Great Westminster Circus, politicians are seen as the members of the circus. The idea of politicians members of the circus are because politics is regularly seen as a circus and it allowed me to have a bit of fun with the rebrand.
I have produced 5 old Victorian style posters dedicated to Victorian circus acts such as equestrians, menageries, freaks, clowns and comedians. All the language used would have been language that would have been used at the time and all the typefaces are from that era. I have featured the politicians as the main acts of the circus and have made sure that the language is playful in the style they would of used in Victorian circus posters.
The application of the posters will be applied around London as the museum is situated at the Houses Of Parliament.
